SketchCrawl Toronto

Toronto, Canada checking in. I headed East down Queen street towards the Eaton center, past the crowd gathered for the Santa Claus Parade. Then briefly up Yonge, back down again to the financial district, and home along King street. The last one is a drawing of my television and plastic skeleton. In hindsight there was so much more that I could have drawn. Toronto is a great city for sketching, but it seems that I was more interested in crawling. Sometimes it is just better to park yourself in a good spot and wait for interesting subjects to enter your field of vision.

I recognize the location of your first drawing immediately! Great stuff!
I spent most of the day inside nursing a hangover, but I still managed to draw most of the day:

Cool! Your bus people are really charming. Lots of personality.

If anyone else from Toronto wants to add their images to this thread, please do so.

those are great :D. The second one has a wonderful balance of light and dark, Tom D.

Thanks. I was pleased with the way the second one came out as well. It's always better to start with a design and warp reality to make it fit.
