Thoughts on locations?

I am going to try and make up some fliers and leave them at some art stores in & around the city (Utrecht, Plaza) and see if we get any new recruits. Feel free to spread the word.

some that were mentioned before or on the facebook page:
dupont circle area
brookland area
the zoo (i personally don't like zoos so i'd probably vote against this)

on another note, i took this holga image during our last sketchcrawl: http://halophoto.blogspot.com/2010/04/w ... ndian.html
(i did sketch too, but am mainly a photographer so there you have it. )

That's a fantastic pic Erin. It probably goes without saying, but you are now officially required to bring your Holga to every sketchcrawl.

Back to business:

As it seems we may have a few more people along for the crawl this time out, I think a Metro friendly location is the way to go. So perhaps we take G-town of the list for this go-around.

So that leaves a list of (suggested) spots that include:

Brookland
Nat'l Zoo
Dupont Circle
Congressional Cemetery

(we did Hirshhorn last time, so I'll keep their Sculpture Garden of the list for now)

Brookland has been mentioned a couple times & that sounds like it would be a great place to sketch. But if anyone has strong feelings for another location, please feel free to say so!

Brookland sounds like a good idea to me. Unless someone has another plan, how about we meet outside the Metro around 10am? (Ah - now I see the event on Facebook. So 10:30 it is.)
