Sign up in the Oakleigh Mansion gift shop any time between 10 AM and 2 PM, then sketch inside the house (Admission is free for participants), on its grounds, and throughout the Garden District. Because Oakleigh is a historic house museum, we'll be restricted to pencil/ pen/ marker, but you can pull
out your paintbox outdoors.

The neighborhood is full of beautiful old homes, Washington Square is a lush park boasting some ancient oaks, and if you want to draw people, you may find them sipping coffee at Cream and Sugar and perhaps something stronger at Callaghan's Irish Social Club (both good places for a lunch break).

We'll regroup at Oakleigh at 3 to socialize over coffee, share sketches and post them on our website for sketchers around the world - and snap a group photo.

Also: Thanks to the initiative of CeCe Redmond, newly elected president of Mobile Writers Guild, a number of Guild members will join us for the Crawl, creating their sketches with words.
