My first SketchCrawl ever! I left the house with a booklet, a pencil-pen and a fineliner. I watercoloured the pictures at home.
The very first picture I drew (not in this post) was in front of a well visited Chinese restaurant, so there were people looking over my shoulder the whole time and I will be featuring a bunch of holiday pictures After that first picture I looked for a bit more quiet places, but people tend to talk to you when you're drawing anyways, and actually it was a lot of fun!

These are the best three pictures of the day, I hope you like them!


This bird we call "meerkoet" (something like... lake cow ) in the Netherlands was watching me while I was trying to draw a tower. The tower didn't really work out, so I turned to the bird instead and think the result turned out quite alright!


I liked all the details in the motor cycle! It was really nice drawing it.


This one I drew standing in just a couple of minutes. I think I like this one best!

Arrgh! I've been wanting to get started on this for a while now, and before something was always in the way, but this time I somehow just plain forgot about it! I am in Amsterdam as well, located fairly near the NDSM Werf where folks met up for the last sketchcrawl and this one was supposed to be my first as well! Next time! Must set up a reminder!

I really like the lady with the pigeons as well, great character...and I know those birds, they like to steal the bread when my kids are trying to feed the ducks in the canal, now I know what to call it!
