Sunshine Coast Gibsons RESULTS

so - I thought I would encourage our local artists here on the Sunshine Coast to come our for a Crawl.

Just bring your sketchbook or Moleskin, pens, pencils and brushpens and meet up in Lower Gibsons for the afternoon.

11:00 across from Molly's Reach - next to the Tourist info kiosk.

or some of you townies can come over on the ferry for the day.
(9:00 or 9:40am Langdale Ferry from Horseshoe Bay - takes 40 minutes/ cost= walk-on $12.60 car $55+)
#257 express bus from Georgia St. downtown.

the local buses meet the ferry but sometimes the timing is not so good.

A fabulous sunny day and lots of activity in the old harbour area of Gibsons Landing as it was BC Day long weekend.

We met at the main square near the statue of George Gibson - town founder, right across from Molly's Reach of CBC tv Beachcombers fame. some went down to the wharf area to check out the boats, while others stayed near the buskers music and buildings.

I was very confused beacuse the Sunshine Coast is in Queensland and you all look a bit too summery even for Queensland. Now I'm not confused any moe I'd like to say you look as if you're having a great time and your sketches are terrific.
