HAMBURG [Germany | RESULTS]
Dear Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg sketchers, Saturday is crawling closer. So far there's a smallish group of people who intend to draw cranes&beer of some sort, any other suggestions welcome!

--- now as we started here:

we might also continue here

Meeting point: Landungsbrücken at 3 pm

-- due to my sickness I only had some time to sketch in the end - on my own. So I started out with some five-second-poses ... at a climbing wall next to my place. That guy in the second row from below, and secon from the right didn't actually die, he just hung in there loose ...
.. I'll update in this post, later on. Welcome aboard Kolja -- and Gus: I am kind of nosy on some photos, too
-- went down to the DOM; Hamburg's fun-fair several times a year. I could easier count the days, when it's not taking place. So, many people stood in front of the scooters and rollercoasters, smiling astounished, happy and with a glance of childisch joy in their eyes. Made me happy to stand in front of them ... seeing their faces, watching activities behind me.

Re: HAMBURG, Germany [RESULTS]
After many moons by incident I chose to check these forums today to see a sketchcrawl announced to start within the hour. So I grabbed some stuff to draw and went to the meeting point, hoping to find someone who looks like a sketchcrawler. Fortunately I found Meike there, recognizable by the book and colored pencils and I asked her "Are you a sketchcrawler?" And so I joined in Thanks for being so welcoming.
This is the swedish Gustav-Adolf Church I drew while waiting for someone to show up
Mareikje drew a bit more of that ship.
I am drawing on the back pages of my diary and this time I didn't use enough force, so this cool ice enthusiast is a bit hard to see.
This guy came out better.
The building at St. Pauli Landungsbrücken. I don't really know what it is these days.

Re: HAMBURG, Germany [RESULTS]
That's what is great about sketchcrawls. You make new friends.
Drawings with such character from you in Hamburg.

-- hij, Kolja. That's one of those typical Sketchcrawl-coincidences you tell us about here
Great you found Meike and I really like the Landungsbrücken-Radar (last pic).
So for further drawing meet-ups around here (Hamburg), Sebastian once set up this here, too: http://sketchhh.posterous.com/
They are out for Dr. Sketchys tomorrow night, too.
See you soon again,

Thorsten: Very nice drawings of the climbers (thanks for assuring us that they didn't fall to their doom ) Great caricature in all the figures you drew as well!
Kolja: Neat stuff. I love drawings layered with handwriting, so I think the back of your diary page is pretty cool.
