I didn't have much time for sketching, but managed to do this one in the morning before other activities took over. I was visiting my mother at Alpine Lake, near Terra Alta, WV, and was taken by all the bright colors of the kayaks and rowboats lined up by the lake.

I would sketch them(pretty boats) too if I were there. The scenery is beautiful. Thanks for sharing! :clap: :thumbup: :lol:

Wow it seems like the kayak's shapes would come out of the sheet...it's an effect that remembers me oil or acrylic painting. I admire how you've been able to give this idea with watercolours...which normally inspire such a flat painting!
