I missed the crawl itself but managed to get to APE and sketch some of the comic-book fans & creators on the exhibition floor.

Good to see everyone. Kind of a small turnout, but then it was Alternative Press Expo (APE) weekend. I went to APE the next day. Here are some people on bart and a half-finished policeman from muni from my way to Duboce Park, and some dogs and sketchers in the park.

Caught a performance of a Chinese folkdance group by the park. The streetview and statue are from later in the day around Blue Bottle Coffee.

Uphill from the park is a good view of the city.

Toward the end of the day at Civic Center it started to get quite cold. My fingers were shaking and this one just about got away from me.

Hi all,
My husband and I went directly to the Civic Center, since we knew we wouldn't make it to the park when everyone else started.
It was a bit cold and gloomy, but I met numerous folks while sketching and my husband made a video. We had a good time.
After I was done sketching we went to Johnny Foley's for a late lunch.
Can't wait for Sketchcrawl 30!

Thanks, crgcas! It was a pretty full day. I started about 9:30 drawing people on the train on my way to the city, started in earnest at about 10:30 at the park, spent a lot of time walking between sketches, finished city hall around 4:00, drew the rose at dinner around 6:30, made it to a party at the Cartoon Art Museum, and finished up on the train again around 9:30. So about 12 hrs, but with plenty of breaks.
