Hi everyone!
What about a sketchcrawl in Barna?
It would be my first time around sketching these places...

¿Quién se apunta?

Hi everybody!

@ Gaceeba & Remi: As Swasky wrote, the area proposed so far it's a route through Paral·lel & Poble Sec areas but we still pondering other options (it's good to have an indoor option in case the weather isn't great). We shall decide on the next days, so keep an eye here in the forum and also at our group blog: http://barcelonasketchcrawl.blogspot.com

@ Swasky: Thanks for keeping an eye here on the forum and cheering up things from the UrbanSketchersSpain blog too!

SALUT!

Hi!

I've fetched a few interesting places in Poble Sec.

1. We could start at the old 3 chimmeneys
2. Then climb to "Mirador del Poble Sec" to have a panoramic view from Barcelona.
3. Carrer Julià is a little street with little houses with gardens, from the XIX century.
4. La plaça del sortidor is the main Square, perhaps we could have lunch there and use it as meeting point for the people coming only on the afternoon.
5. carrer Blai is an interesting street (including carrer Tapiolas num. 12).
6. Finish at Paralel, with theaters and neon lights in teh evening.

If it rains, I would suggest to follow Swasky's idea and spend the day sketching at train stations, Cataunya, Passeig de Gracia, Sants, Montcada

Salut

Thanks for giving a suggestion, jiveatfive. It sounds good!!

By the way, where is the old 3 chimmeneys? In fact, it's my first time to visit Barcelona. So I wanna know the meeting place in detail, for example, an address or how I can get there.

Thank you,
Remi

Hi

The address is"avinguda paral·lel 55", and the nearest metro station is "Paral·lel", on the green line.
It's impossible to miss it, three big chimmeneys from an old industrial building.

But let's wait for other suggestions before making a final decision.

One week for sketching!

Salut

Hi , let's making a final decision. (Because I can only see this website until tomorrow. sorry, it's for personal reason.)

meeting point: at the old 3 chimmeneys
meeting time: what time is convenient for you? Around noon or so?

I hope it is sun on the day!

OK then!

Let's meet up at the park next to the 3 chimneys at 10.30 am.

PS: If any of you won't make it at that time drop me a message to exchange mobile numbers so we can find each other after the meeting time.

See you all on Saturday
