This time the Barcelona Sketchcrawl was postponed for a week to coincide with Saint George's Day (patron saint of Catalonia -and many other places). The meeting place was Plaza de Sant Just in the gothic area of the city.
I was recovering from a cold so I could only be there for two hours. In the plaza stands the Iglesia de Los Santos Justo y Pastor( possibly the darkest church I've ever been in!). Although it dates from around the 9th century, the construction of the church in its Gothic form as we see today started in 1342. I started sketching some statues until I had a little accident with some ink which went onto most of the paper I had brought with me.
After sketching some people for awhile, I had to go home, making this the shortest crawl for me so far. Looking forward to seeing what the others did.
