Auckland [RESULTS]

Post by Mr Dewhurst »

Zoe, Rosa and I met Steeven and Oryan at the Viaduct for yesterdays sketchcrawl. Lot's of action to sketch down there at the moment with the Rugby World cup in full swing. Really nice to see Auckland buzzing with thousands of locals and tourists enjoying the festivities, street performers and various activities. It's hard to believe it will return to it's usual quiet norm after 6 weeks or so action. It was nice to meet some new sketchers, hopefully Steeven will post here soon too.

Street artist Marcus Winter entertaining the French and Welsh rugby supporters. We enjoyed his welcome speech, '...the best show you'll see in Auckland today before lunchtime' he informed us, it was about 8 minutes from 12 at the time...

Ta Moko artist and carver Matt Smiler at work on French rugby fan Clement at Kura art gallery. It looked painful but his face wasn't showing it...

Hi Murray, Rosa & Zoe,

you have really given a good flavour of some of the Rugby Cup festivities, presumably which are really ramping up with the semi finals this weekend. Love the style.

Rosa and Zoe I do really like your super yachts and their treatment of water and sky. They both have a dynamic sense of action.

Cheers
Scott
