Sketchpad Pro or Digital Sketching

Post by Stormseye »

Hi all,

I recently downloaded a copy of Sketchpad Pro 2010, and absolutely love it. Problem is, it's kinda pricey for something I just want to use for simulating pencil sketching. I already have Photoshop and Painter for my digital painting needs, but Sketchpad is just SOOOO fast and smooth and wonderfully simple. I can get Painter close, but it's just not quite as responsive. I've tried ArtRage, and that doesn't cut it either.

Anyone know of anything comprable and *ahem* cheaper? I mean, aside from the obvious pencil and paper option.

Thank you!
