Sydney, Australia

Ok, let's start with the suggestions!

We're in spring, which may allow us to be a bit more outdoorsy this time!

For the ones that find us throw the internet and it's their first SketchCrawl in Sydney don't hesitate to introduce yourself here! We'll help you to find us on the day.

My suggestions:

Sydney Seaplanes in Rose Bay (easy access by Ferry). Nice harbour views and beautiful Australian Seaplanes. http://www.seaplanes.com.au/contact-us/

Other options: THE ROCKS or DARLING HABOUR. They're really interesting areas that we haven't sketch that much.

What is in everyone else mind?? :D

Darling Habour seems very interesting option as it's holding the Classic & Wooden Boat Festival

Hi Alissa,

After discussing with Liz, Jennifer and Hubert we decided this Sketchcrawl to be in Darling Harbour at 10AM. We are deciding where to meet. Any suggestions?

What a pity, I was in Darling Harbour for the past few days, but have now returned to QLD, would loved to have joined you all for a sketchout.

Peter.

EXACT MEETING SPOT

Outside front entrance, at sculpture of massive anchors or inside the Maritime museum in Darling Harbour next to front entrance at 10AM today!!!

Entry is $10. No discounts :S

The Classic And Wooden Festival is a chance to get up close and personal with some of Sydney's stunning heritage vessels - more than 70 classic boats that recall the golden age of sailing including a dozen beautiful Halverson cruisers, graceful yachts and streamlined speedboats. Explore the festive marketplace selling all things nautical and an outstanding display of boating products. Discover the skills of traditional maritime crafts including rope making, scrimshaw and caulking.

There may be models dressed up and photographed as characters of the sea.
