It was a real fine Autumn day. The streets and Seoul plaza were bustling with people and sounds from event(Seoul Art Festival) on Seoul Plaza and the changing ceremony of guards at Deoksugung Palace, etc. Seoul sketchers, Lee Yong Hwan, Jung Kyoung Won, Hwang Hwa Sook, Mun Sang Hee, Yoo Byung Hwa, enjoyed the beautiful streets and sketching together. As always time was too short, things to capture were too many. Thank you all!

It was such a lovely day for Sketchcrawl. We Seoul sketchers met at Daehanmun in front of Deoksugung Palace, and sketched around Seoul City Hall and Jeong-dong. I have sketched around the same spot many times in Sketchcrawl. We had a pleasant sketch time all together after a long seperation.

Hi B H and Seoul artists!
:D wonderful sketches!
My favorites are BH's Anglican
church and child info center (what is sepia in holder?) and Archiartist's Noble building.
I just posted Tallahassee a few minutes ago. Not all our sketchers have sent images yet, so please be patient with us!

Thank you, JJ Bell, Shanghailady, and Mark for your kind comments!

And for Mark, I took a photo to show 'sepia (conte) in holder' made in CZECH. It is one of my favorite tools because of convenience. Graphite, white conte, charcoal can be used in the holder. There will be kinds of products which is lighter than this. Hope this to be useful information. :P

I found the following photos in website, the exact one I use.

All pictures are drawn with pen and watercolor.

It's sunny but a little bit cold.
So many peopel were participating lots of activities around here in center of the Seoul today.
Very noizy but so lively. I love it! We're expecting gorgeous Autumn this year.

It was a terrific day, with lots of people, tourists and locals, gathered about the Seoul city plaza. In the first one, I tried to express the slight fogginess in the air -- despite the weather being clear -- and the crowdedness of the buildings. In the second, I tried to show the height -- the authoritative stance --of the Seoul Plaza Hotel among other buildings. In the last sketch, I tried to capture quaint quality of the alleyway/buildings made of bricks around the Jeongdong neighborhood.

Hwa Sook HWANG, I like your people sketches, very lively...hard to draw people and have them look "in-motion", but that is it!
BH, Thanks for the art tools photos. We have Koh-i-noor (Czech) products, but that type holder is new to me. Maybe the art store can order it for me. You got good results with it. Did you erase back into the drawing of the Anglican church? Looks like fun.

Thank you all, Philippe56, AVBK, Joan T, and Mark Fletcher as always! Sketching with new participants is very exciting by expecting what the results would come out from them. So we wait for new courageous sketchers to join us. Thank you all the sketchers for sharing!
