Normally, I would do the SketchCrawl in my hometown Bangkok, Thailand. But this time, my family and I were on an away weekend from Bangkok.

So I participated in the 37th World-wide SketchCrawl this time in Rajburi, Thailand.

This time, my family and I went to SuanPheung (or the land of the bees in Thai meaning), Rajburi, a mountain town 100 miles west of Bangkok. There are lots of rustic resorts along the Thai-Burma mountain border.

The first sketch was the roadside fruit stand opposite our resort.

The second sketch was at the cafe on the hill top overlooking the mountains bordering Thailand and Burma. This cafe "BannHomTien" also offered the local drink, a fresh pineapple juice in a bamboo container.

Great color to give a feeling of your mountain town. Wonderful to see. I really enjoy how varied the submissions are and yours is very nice, so even though you were alone doing this, it is great to see the diversity in this group of Worldwide sketchers.
