Two of us met and sketched at Memorial Park for a few hours. It turned out to be a pretty nice fall day, sunny to start but it got a little cloudier later in the afternoon. There was a bit of a wind too. With the cloud it cooled off a bit and I was pretty chilled by 5pm.

My first sketch was done from our meeting place from behind the library and the second was a quick drawing of a tree on the other end of the park.

My second sketch was a straight to ink brush pen sketch which I coloured quickly after the fact after running out of time

Hey Damian, great sketches!! I was looking forward to seeing your last sketch coloured in... I didn't realize when you showed me that the woman in it was looking at the posted menus – nice touch! I like the leaves on the top too. Congrats again for not using ink on the sketch of the tree. I like how you painted the bark.
