Hi everyone

Who would like to join us in Melbourne on 25th January? Should be lovely summer weather for us!
I'm thinking St Kilda is calling us... the beach and/or Luna Park.

Any other suggestions?

Or there's a celebration of migration on at Princes Pier from 12pm, if you're interested in sketching some people in folk costumes, singing & dancing, kite flying and, with luck, some interesting rowboats.

Sounds great! Count me in. I haven't been to Princes Pier as far as I know - that sounds pretty cool.

OK we will sketch at the piers festival held at Princes Pier and Station Pier in Port Melbourne. There should be plenty of variety in subject matter as we move around a relatively small area. A little about the festival, including a small map, here http://www.weekendnotes.com/piers-festival/

Meet at the Beacon Cove tram terminus (on tram route 109) at 12:30. I plan to be there by the time you arrive. Look for people holding sketchbooks...
