Meet at Spring Lake Regional Park at 11:00 am at the snack buildings by the Lagoon. Directions: Drive East on Montgomery Dr. Santa Rosa and turn right on Channel Dr.and right on Violetti Dr. to the park entrance (park fee or park outside). Sketch or paint until 1:00 pm and meet again at the picnic tables nearby the snack buildings. Look for my red table cloth and join us. Bring your lunch and share your art. Lots to sketch or paint; two lakes, trees, mountains, vistas, people and dogs. Cancelled if raining or wet.

Spring Lake, a regional park of Sonoma County….thanks to Donna DeLaBriandis, our organizer in the floppy hat & local Junior College Art Instructor, managed to get over 20 folks out, drawing in ink, watercolor, one in oils, graphite, charcoal….said I'd try & share some of the photos I took in our VERY bright, 75 degree sunshine. (CA in a severe drought)

Thank you Marcy for posting the pictures of the day. There were about 25 sketchers that showed up (I have a picture I will soon post of the group.) it was a beautiful day with lots of sketchers enthusiasm as they planned their art around the park. We regrouped at 1:00 to have lunch together and share our art with lots of plans for future events. Donna D.
