Hi all!
Yesterday with Sarah we decided to stay in front of the Ponte Vecchio under the vaults of the Vasari Corridor so that we had a shelter from rain and at the same time very interesting views of the bridge and of the buildings that in the area overlook the river...

Nice day in Florence with Lucia, the weather was not exactly good but I had an enjoyable experience, sketching in front of Ponte Vecchio with several onlookers who stopped and gave us their opinion. At first, it was difficult to warm-up: I felt quite rigid, and I think this is apparent from the first drawing, a view of Ponte Vecchio. This month sketchcrawl was not crowded at all, so in the afternoon I found myself alone and I decided to move to Piazza della Signoria, taking shelter from the rain under the "Loggia dei Lanzi". The view was wonderful, and the result is a quicker study of the Bargello tower and its surroundings. This drawing session was much more enjoyable and it confirms my opinion about watercolours: the quicker, the best!

Hannya, even if it's not the one that you prefer, I like very much your "ponte vecchio", nice colors, kind of atmosphere half mysterious, half Tuscan...
