Hello Everyone,
L.A. Sketchcrawl group is going to visit our favorite sketching spot, Union Station! This railway station was built in 1939 and has a mix of Dutch Colonial Revival, Mission Revival and Streamline Moderne architecture styles. The group can also head out to Olvera Street across the street for more sketching and/or lunch.

Meet in front of Starbucks inside the station
Free admission
What to bring:
sketching materials, $ for food/snacks (you can also bring your own food)
What to sketch:
building interior, traveling people, tiled garden courtyards
Parking/transportation info:
Metro: Gold line, Red line and Purple lines stop here.
You can also ride Amtrak or Metrolink train into the station from other parts of LA and Orange County.

If you are driving, parking is available for $6/day (cash or credit card) in the Gateway Center Garage located under the Patsaouras Transit Plaza.
*Use 801 South Vignes Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 for mapping the address of the parking lot - the entrance is on Vignes Street. Look carefully for the sign to the entrance - it's easy to miss.
