Today due to snowstorm Jonas, I wasn't able to get outside to sketch. We have had over 16 inches (41 cm) of snow so far. I decided to do my best and sketch from indoors.
First I sketched my coffee as it was being made on my kitchen counter.
That was quickly followed by breakfast...a clementine and an egg white omelette with spinach and cheese.
The wind was blowing and the snow was piling up. I pulled up the blinds in my living room and sat by the window to sketch the view outside. The snow on my patio railing was almost too high to see over. All my windows are on the same side of my building so this is pretty much the only view I see.
For a different view I opened my garage door. It faces the parking area where there were a lot of cars buried under a lot of snow. I was hoping there would be a few people digging out their cars but nobody was outside. I was able to rest my sketchbook on the trunk of my car while I sketched.
Just in case you were curious about what it actually looked like, here is a photo I took standing at my front door.
