Le 52ème SketchCrawl aura lieu Samedi 30 juillet au Jardin d'Acclimatation

Le jardin d'acclimatation est le plus ancien parc d'attractions de France (voire d'Europe) inauguré en 1860 par Napoléon III. Nous devrions pouvoir y trouver de quoi dessiner toute la journée entre la fondation Louis Vuitton (qui accueille en ce moment "l'Observatoire de lumière" de Buren), les animaux, quelques bâtiments historiques (pigeonnier de Gambetta, maison de Kiso...) , le jardin coréen et bien sûr les manèges et leur animation.

Le parc ouvre ses portes à 10h (tarif d'entrée 3 euros)
La fondation Louis Vuitton est ouverte à 11h (tarif 14 euros)

Les rendez-vous (sur le plan ci-dessous)

- à 10h au Petit Pavillon du jardin (19)

- à 13h à l'espace pique-nique (indiqué sur le plan ci-dessous). Pour ceux qui n'auront pas amené à manger, il existe de nombreux kiosques dans le parc.

- à 17h au Salon de thé Angelina (20)

Le jardin d'acclimatation is the oldest french amusement park, opened by Napoleon III in 1860.
We will find there enough subjects to draw all day long : Louis Vuitton Foundation (housing now an exhibition by Buren : "the observatory of light"), animals, some historical buildings, a Korean garden and of course the merry-go-round.

Doors open at 10 am (price 3 euros)
The Louis Vuitton foundation opens at 11am (price 14 euros)

The meeting points (indicated on the map below)

- 10 am : Petit Pavillon du jardin (19)

- 1 pm : picnic area (you can bring your food or buy it inside the park)

- 5 pm : Salon de thé Angelina (20)

Participer au sketchcrawl parisien, ça faisait longtemps. Une belle après-midi tout en découvrant un lieu inédit pour moi.

We had an excellent SketchCrawl last Saturday at the Jardin d'Acclimatation in Paris.
The weather was fantastic and the sketchers present were enthusiastic, from the 10am meeting at the Petit Pavillon du Jardin to the picnic at 1pm, and then until the 5pm teatime at Salon de thé Angelina.

Thank you Anne for planning the day for us!

I had a fun time in only my second visit of the site, at least 7 years after the first. It was also great to find my stroke again, after having gone six weeks without a single sketch.
