Hi! My name is Nick, I'm a story artist and former colleague of Enrico Casarosa at Pixar.

I'd love to gather folks for the NY chapter of the Sketchcrawl. If you'd like to spend a day wandering, sketching, and getting to know other folks who draw, then this is your day! I've mapped a loose itinerary: a place to start, time to wander, and a chance to reconnect at the end—and I'm happy to take recommendations. Here's what I'm thinking:

The 56th World Wide SketchCrawl! / Saturday, July 29th

· 10:00 am, optionally meet at Café Sabarsky for a cuppa coffee and breakfast cake.
· 11:00 am, meet on the steps of the Met Museum to kick off the day. (I'll be wearing a blue baseball cap.)
· 1:00 pm, optionally meet at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park for lunch.
· 5:00 pm, regroup at the Met's Cantor Roof Bar to cheers the day and share our work.
· And we can keep hanging after that, if anyone is so inclined!

Warm up your sketchbooks, we're less than a week away!

Here's a loose map of the area around the Met Fifth Avenue.
There's a lot of nearby, mostly museums and sprawling Central Park.
All of the locations highlighted on the map are within a 15 minute walk of the Met!

Hi everyone. So, it looks like there's a chance of rain in the morning. In that event:

· 11:00 am, Kickoff will be relocated to the Met's Great Hall.
· 1:00 pm, Lunch will be a free for all!
· 5:00 pm, Reconvene will happen on the Met's second floor Great Hall Balcony Bar.
