I've actually had the pleasure of meeting him a few years back and I look forward to meeting him again in the next few weeks in Tokyo.
Such an inspiration.

oh yah!
He did everything digital right? From sketch to finish.
What appeal to me about his work(other than his master way of playing with lighting & composition) is e simple lines in his drawings.

Well, since I just scanned this drawing .... I thought I'd share it ...
Tadahiro San gave it to me when I visited him last fall ...
he had tons of stacks of sketches ... he said he'd often do these on the phone ...
He told me to choose one and I could have it ... I was so happy !!! But it was the hardest darn thing in the world to do !!!! I needed a few hours just to decide ...
well after 20 minutes I choose this page ... he wasn't so happy about this specific one ... so he added a little something for me ... he drew my caricature on it and signed the page ....
so darn sweeeeeet !!!!
sorry ... don't mean to gloat .. just thought I'd share ...
so here it is ... finally scanned ... my Tadahiro page of sketches ... priced possession ...
He's da man !
