Limited Edition SketchCrawl MoleSkine

Post by enrico »

I am in talks with the nice people at Moleskines to produce a limited edition SketchCrawl moleskine Sketchbook (probably with a SketchCrawl logo and a few customized pages).
I am really excited about this ... it could be a great way to spread the word about our global drawing marathon.
So I wanted to see what the interest in such a thing would be in our little worldwide community.
So I thought I'd start a little poll here. Please vote on the poll in the most honest way and feel free to share some thoughts or specific requests in posts as well.

For those of you not familiar with Moleskine these are the two sketchbooks I am referring to in the poll (sizes could differ but these are the two styles)

Thanks

Enrico

PS
I have no idea of the exact cost yet, but it shouldn't be very different from their usual price ... maybe even less.

The Moleskin I prefer is the "reporter's" moleskin. I prefer that to the one that opens like a book. I do like the watercolor one too. The accordion one is fun, but I'm not sure I'd buy another.

This would be a great idea, I know I would buy one.

I actually really love the blue/violet label sketchbook for drawing and watercoloring. The watercolor one doesn't do much for me. As much as I hate buying into such a big trend like this, they are actually really well made, and nice sizes!

Holy crap, I absolutely would buy a couple. Not just one. I prefer the watercolor one because I like doing both pen drawings and watercolors.

What'd REALLY be awesome is a Fabriano endorsed Sketchcrawl book. I recently got one and it's damn nice.

Brilliant idea e. Both customized moleskine sketchbooks would be a great addition to sketchcrawlers all over the world. I really like the idea of the heavier weighted paper for quick watercolor washes. Also, the perforated paper will be very convenient to frame or donate art work for future fund raising events.

This is an amazing idea, in my opinion! I'd buy several of each to last several sketchCrawls! I can't wait for the next one!
I was here, if only for an instance.

I already own the two sizes of the watercolor one (smaller and larger) and I purchased another set for my wife, so we could get at least two more sets.

Yeah, i just got a fabriano as well.

Oooh, I would get both. I would have to struggle with the sadness of filling it up, though... because once it's full, it's not so useful to carry around... :-(

Heck yes, I'll take one of each please :D Really cool idea. I'm not a huge Moleskine fan but that's just too cool :)

I said No - but purely because you are listing the smaller notebook size. The small notebook size is too small for me.

I only ever use the Large Sketchbook size which is 5.25 x 8.25" (13 x 21 cm)

I'm just wondering whether other people are clear about which size they are saying 'Yes' to? Maybe you need to make this clearer in the poll?
