Kamakura, Shonan / Japan [RESULTS]

Hi Folks,
The sketch crawl of Kamakura and Shonan was finished.
We gathered from Kanagawa, Tokyo, Saitama. It was fine. We could sketch at outside from ten to four.

Hello everyone!
Welcome to the ancient city of “SAMURAI”

This time we sketched in Kamakura in Kanagawa prefecture.
Kamakura is known as “BUKE-NO-KOTO” (the ancient city of samurai), and is currently applying for designation
as a World Cultural Heritage site.

This place was a center of Japan during 12~14 century (The Kamakura period)

There're many surfers in the sea.
I wondered if they're cold in water.

Left one is I drew for Tetsu. It's his portrait.
Right one is I got from him. Because I love squirrels, requested him to draw.
He drew for me cute, furry bunny-like squirrel. (the model is my pet.. ) Thankyou!!

I did some sketchs in a train to the way to Kamakura.


A woman on the train.


I transfar Enoshima-line(Eno-den). This is popular line in Kamakura and Enoshima.
I could see Sagami-bay.

I drop off once, I went to beach. I wanted to see sea and wave. Today is fine. I was very comfortable.

This is Koma-inu(a pair of stone-carved guardian dogs). I skeched in Kamakura.
