There are always hardy souls out fishing. I sat in my car to sketch this man, all bundled up, fishing on the bay. In the distance, you can see the causeway connecting Port Lavaca and Point Comfort. On the right is the big Alcoa plant at Point Comfort. Ink
I also sat in my car to sketch Melcher's Hardware Company in downtown Port Lavaca. This is one of those old family hardware stores where you can still find anything you might need in the way of hardware. Some of the lines didn't show up so well in the scan. Ink
