So here are my sketches from Saturday at the Los angeles Central Library no weather can stop us from sketching, it was a great event

Some sketches I did at the Zoo (in the morning) before I met up with Sketch-crawl.
I'd post pics of the Library, but I didn't like them enough to share, so,... hehe

Here are some pics from the Nucleus Gallery I took. The show had displays of Ice Cream Monster's work.

great sketches of animals! Love the way they are all inblues and pinks. And the drawings in the museum are lovely.! Great job.

Here is the L.A. Sketchcrawl crew, staying dry inside the LA Public Library!

This is the drawing I did at the rotunda of the library - I spent the rest of the time looking at wonderful exhibits and chatting instead of drawing

the exhibits at the library were “The World of William Joyce” and “Richard Neutra, Architect: Sketches and Drawings”.
I really liked both exhibits.

I have to admit...I ended up visiting with other artists more than I actually sketched –- but nevertheless, here are a couple pages of people sketches:

d_art—Great limited use of color in the animal drawings. The hugging orangatangs are especially nice.
Shiho—Lovely linework as always. Great use of the watercolors to report on the lighting.
Akiko—Nice series of drawings. I like the details you chose to show in the last one.
Vivian—Very nice spread of people. The drawing of the kid reading is my favorite.

Looks like a successful crawl (even if you spent more time chatting than drawing). There a sliver of a chance I'll moving to LA in the fall. I look forward to sketching with all of you if things work out.
