Re: San Francisco, CA
hurray! I'm going to be in san fran during this sketch crawl! I usually try to get one going here In dallas. This is a pleasant coincidence! Since I'm visiting, I don't know where anything is (first visit), so I'm excited to explore with the original crawlers!
let me know where to go! Ahh, so excited!

BTW ... I just look up on-line at Chrissy Field ... Err ... can I take the ferry from the North Bay and then change to some kind of public transportation as well?! Trying to figure out whether driving or public transport is easier and better?!
Appreciate any suggestion

Re: San Francisco, CA
Alina--perhaps this site can help: http://511.org/. there's some distance to cover if you're headed to places like enrico suggests, but there's also places to draw closer to the warming hut like the bridge, boats, a fort, people, beach, etc. so depending on if you plan on walking a bit once you've reached the starting point, or you'd like to stick closer to the starting point, i'd also take that into consideration for driving vs. public transport. the park also has a shuttle service, but i am unaware of its frequency and route. a key thing to consider is it can get cold and windy in the area, so i'd also suggest packing a couple more layers than you need for Marin, regardless of what the weatherman says. happy drawing!

Thank you Derek and raisondetre for the information.
After checking out the transport site, I think it seems easier to drive. Is there parking near the Warming Hut? Or I should park somewhere else and then walk there?

Re: San Francisco, CA
Hi everyone, I was approached about the sketchcrawl today, while drawing the Transbay Transit Terminal. Anyone remember? Are you here stranger?...
Anyways. I am totally stoked about participating. Crissy fields is ok. Sketched there before. I hope we move from there though. Lots of amazing places close by. I personally find that La Fayette Park is one of the top places in The City to sketch. I most certainly agree though that the availability of coffee is a big plus for Crissy fields. Where exactly is the warming hut? I am not familiar with that term.
Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Re: San Francisco, CA
Finally made it to California from Texas today. A long but satisfying drive. Staying in the Healdsburg area, but I'm pretty sure I can be there Saturday. Very excited about this.
Enrico, I think I'd like to buy a shirt as well.
Is meeting time 10 or 10:30 or anywhere in between?
Can't wait to meet everyone!
