Re: Barcelona, Spain - [RESULTS]
This time a few regulars were missing ( on holidays ) but the numbers were truly compensated for with the arrival of new members. A very big thank you to Eclecticbox for organising the day and using up his own valuable drawing time in coordinating the Sketchcrawl. As we split up into various smaller groups throughout the day, he kept everyone informed as to our whereabouts and meeting points.
We started off at the Santa Maria del Mar church. After trying to sketch a part of the altar, poor concentration on the day and the heat inside the church made me think it would be best to go outside and sketch people. I met up with Eclecticbox and we sat for a chat and drink while we sketched away.
As time went by more members joined us until we ended up occupying 2 tables. We stayed there for a while until we were kindly asked to move on ( it was nearing lunch time and there must be a limit as to how much time one can spend at a table with just one drink!)
From there we headed over towards Estació de França, an amazing train station. After a brief attempt to draw some trains and related objects, I gave up and continued with some loose sketches of people.(back view of Alfredo sketching).
Then we moved on over to the close by Parc de La Ciutadella for lunch.
At the end of the day we sat outside a bar in a plaza for some more sketching/chatting/drinking= fun
It was great to meet everyone.
Good Luck Jenny, hope to see you real soon!

Nice drawings - really admireble. Especially I am amazed by yours sagafornies. The first picture, the one with the ceiling and light on the wall, what kind of medium have you used for colors?
And the last picture with the shadow - I like the way it's done, firstclass
