San Francisco, CA USA [RESULTS]
I saw some nice work here today when we met at the Blue Front Café. A great group.
After parking on Haight Street it became apparent that ATT has almost no cell phone service in the area. I walked up and down Haight and picked out a couple things I wanted to do, an great house with a turret (channelling my inner Marc Taro) and a Hindu Mask of the god of protection in a storefront (that still used steel gates just in case). On the way I saw a couple of sketch crawlers here and a couple of crawlers there. OK, so this was the smallest SF Sketchcrawl I've ever seen. But you know how good things come in small packages? I returned to the truck to get my gear and got to work. Here's what I came up with:

Sweet!
Thanks Ryconn and Benson.
I knew I saw some good stuff being passed around at the end of the day.
Did anybody take a photograph of the whole group?

Looking up at the front of the cafe Crepes on Cole. Classic San Francisco architecture.
Dogs turned out to be the theme of the day. I drew these cafegoers quickly and was about to leave when this little guy sat down in the foreground and completed the composition.
A group of panhandlers on the corner of Haight and Ashbury.
Several tourists came up and photographed this truck as I drew. The window was rolled down and the passenger looked happy.
See you guys at the next one!

Re: San Francisco, CA USA [RESULTS]
At first I was a little disheartened to see the small turnout, but then I took my sketchpad out and that all washed away. There were so many great spots to draw that the day was over all too quick. At the end we somehow managed to takeover the whole front area of the cafe. Sketchbooks were everywhere and everyone was engaged in conversation while looking at each others work. Since we had tables, it seemed that most people had food or drinks. It was a very nice way to cap off a sunny day of sketching. As always I can't wait for the next Crawl.
PS You're going to have to bear with me as I start to get my milage in with a brush pen. It's tough for now, but it'll keep my strokes honest and thoughtful.

Also, great work everyone. Everything posted looks fantastic. I hope many of you are able to make it out to the next one. For me, half of going to SketchCrawl is to be inspired by the sketchbooks of other artists at the end of the day and you always deliver on that end SF sketchers.

I should have posted these suckers earlier. Despite the small turnout and constant walking, it was fun to venture the Haight Street area. Lovely stuff from everyone here!
