I received sketches from Fanda, Gabi, John and Gertrude.
Five sketchers, five locations, flowers and vegetables, an insects and a bird
and once again an old-fashioned item to prepare coffee!
- Thanks for participating!
John
John told me that this grasshopper jumped from a hedge to the canopy of a truck just ahead of his face.
He barely had time to take a single photo before the truck set off.

Manfred
This morning I crawled about in the backyard and found some interesting plants to sketch.
A fuchsia.

Thats me with my models.
An eggplant or aubergine, in Austria this vegetable is called melanzani.
Every sketcher deserves a daily dose of caffeine !
I certainly had a cup of coffee in the morning but there is nothing wrong with a second one in the afternoon.
From time to time I prepare my coffee in an old-fashioned drip coffee pot with a porcelain filter.
(Original Karlsbad Coffeemaker)
It takes some time and reasonable care to produce tasty coffee with this drip coffee pot like playing around with paper and paints to achieve a satisfying result.
And practice makes perfect!

Gertrude
My mother took part in this sketchcrawl again and made a drawing of the house of one of her neighbours.
Gabi
Today Gabi sketched a daisy, battered by the wind.

Hi Artists of Wien!
Nice posts by all of you.
So glad to see John's, M9Fred's, Gabi's, and Fanda's art.
And your mother is becoming a regular contributor as well!
Gabi's has atmosphere, and Mother's also but each different.
M9Fred, I like your large format sketchbook. Did you go to Boesner's Art Supply Store?
Good proportions of shapes within the plants! And Bold watercolor too!
Sara likes the Fuscia and Hot pepper. Her mother grows Hot Peppers also.
John was quick and accurate.
I like your Heron, Fanda. Do you know what type of heron that is, Fanda?
I watched Green Herons chicks hatch from their eggs with an alligator beneath me (I sat in a tree to sketch the nest and later noticed the gator beneath me). This is an old sketch from earlier, in June:
Both that type of eggplant and coffee maker are new to me. It's my first time to hear the word "melanzani".
I bet you can do a large series of Elfi's various Coffee makers.
Thank you,
Mark

Thank you M9Fred!
Now the whole community is the mood for some coffee
Hi Mark!
I`m pleased to see your comments. Where is the picture, that shows you sitting on the tree above the aligator?
Best greetings!
John

Hi Rands and M9Fred,
Thank you for looking at our Tallahassee Florida page!
I still have M9Fred's old phone, but I had another friend's phone that day and it doesn't take pictures
So the sketch will have to suffice.
Sorry my nest drawing is still not finished but I am working on it. By now the chicks have grown and flown, but the nest is still there (and maybe the gator too!)
Today our art group looked at all the WWSC 72 contributors.
We liked your new art!

Nice approach to sketching - out and about at home or nearby. The intimate closeness to the subject matter is special. Nice sketches to see!
