T-SHIRTs !

Post by enrico »

Well, as I said ... every revolution needs a t-shirt ...
Here's the design I was thinking ...

The idea would be to have colorful shirts, any color could work with the black and white design ... of course on darker colors the sketchcrawl type should be white ...
I could choose a certain amount of colors and get them made ... I always use American Apparel for my shirts, they are by far the softest and best quality shirts ...
I was thinking of trying to sell them pretty much at cost to all of you sketchcrawlers ... let me know what you think ...

Awesome design Enrico :P

Selling the shirts at cost for sketchcrawl members is very appreciated. Maybe offering this price for members could bring in more and more members worldwide? I've seen it done for other forums.

How about adding the website link to the back of the shirts(maybe not so big)? We'll be walking advertisments! :D

pretty cool Gerald ... It'd be nice to have the site address on it ... but on the other hand I also don't want it to be too much of a walking advertisement ... I usually don't like shirts with too much writing on it ... X)
and yeah I think it'd be nice to sell the shirts pretty darn cheap ... the idea would be to spread the word, not make money ...
but I wonder if there's enough interest ...
the minimum printrun at the place where I printed the Mia shirts is 140 shirts ...
food for thought ...
I also realistically I might have to settle for 2 colors or maximum 3 ... it'd be too difficult to stock sizes on too many color shirts ...

Here's the page of American Apparel shirt I'd be using ...to give you an idea of the colors available ...
http://www.americanapparelstore.com/2001.html

Ah and for the ladies I was thinking about these shirts ... they are quite form fitting ... judging by the photos at least

If making a minimum quantity is an issue, you could use http://www.cafepress.com, which will make individual t-shirts and other stuff.

Thanks for the suggestion ...
but cafepress quality is not quite good enough ... :P
sorry but it's true ... :D
I always use american apparel, they are great shirts and people can't help but putting them on 'cause they're soft and comfy ... you should see the people walking around Pixar with my Mia shirt, there's quite a few of them X) ...
I don't think they are crazy about Mia, some of them never read it ... but they love the shirt ... X)

the quality of the printing is also an issue with cafepress ...
but thanks again for the suggestion ...

btw I used this company for the shirts:
http://cinderblock.com
good quality

I will look around a little more ... I know of another couple of places ...

but I'll keep you guys updated as soon as I figure out the finances ... X)
I might soon do a poll regarding colors ...
