Re: New York City {Results}
Richard gave a link above to the blog where you can see a lot of the work we did on Saturday for the World Wide SketchCrawl, so please check that. It is easier to see my photos and work this way since mine are loaded much further down on the blog than the rest.
The NYC Urban Sketchers met at Belvedere Castel in Central Park. We had local sketchers, some high school girls and their teacher from Tennessee, and an Aussie from Perth who joined us for a while.
I sketched the castle from the viewing platform.
The view looking down was interesting.
Next we moved down to the lawn. There were sketchers everywhere drawing the castle and each other.
I did a view looking up at the castle.
And a sketch of Parker sketching and some people sitting on the rocks near him.
We shared some of our work before some of the sketchers had to leave.
Carol painted the view from the castle.
After lunch Susan, Mark, Mia, and I continued sketching along the outside of the park doing views of the buildings across from the park.
I sketched two of them.
Mia did the building from top to bottom.
On the way back to the car Susan and I stopped at Starbucks for coffee and I did my last sketch there.

Super sketches, Joan! Wish I could have been there to sketch with you. I like that you got to sketch some of the other sketchers too.
