Hi Artists; You're Invited to the 52nd World wide Sketchcrawl on Sat July 30th. That’s a week from today.

Location suggestions?

The event/location must totally free to Sketchcrawl participants. We prefer a place with restrooms and shelter (in case we have a big rain). Some may prefer an indoor location for a change (it has been hot) or at least a place with such and option...

The PMs and emails indicate nearly unanimous votes for Lake Ella. There are quaint stone-cottage specialty businesses, air-conditioned cafes/restaurants, clean public restrooms, benches in the shade of old oaks and new decorative landscape, plus the large pond with giant fish, turtles, ducks and people.
Weather looks good so far, and we can always step inside if a shower or UV strikes hard.
Let's plan to meet at Black Dog Cafe on the north side of the Lake to enjoy each other's sketches and perhaps for a group photo and refreshments at around noon or so... See you soon!

PS We can also go early to the Tallahassee Museum on Sunday, July 31 for FREE: Simply tell the gate/admissions attendants you are there for sketchcrawl. Remember our "closing reception" is 4-6 pm arranged by Sarah W. : Punch and cookies will be served. If you didn't participate in the exhibit, you are still welcome. If you had art in the show, please take it home after the reception.
