Limited Edition SketchCrawl MoleSkine
Sketchcrawl Limited edition
Sounds like a nice idea!
I think I'd probably go for the original sketchbook version.
Incidentally I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering why the watercolour notebooks have perforated pages!!! Seems entirely inappropriate: notes books are to cherish, and keep surely?

Sketchcrawl Moleskin Books
I like the idea but please ditch the perforation on the watercolor style books.
they are really cool
i got a couple of these last year and man i love them. so much so that i dont want to use them in a fear that they will get over.
i will come out of this though and make some sketches for the 18th wwsc in my moleskine book.
and yes, i did like to buy them as well... but what happens when you get them shipped to india... shipping charges

Sketchcrawl Moleskines
I would definitely love both. What a fantastic idea.
i was thinking about using the citybook series they have to go do sketches of Ihe cites in question - they have one for every major city - (sf, nyc, paris, london, etc)....
so do you imagine it would have like, inspirational sketches every few pages, or little layouts with ideas for what to draw?, like an exercise book, or 'drawing stimulator?' -
if you want to collect some sketches for it, I'd totally be into sending some drawings in!

Please add more details. The thing I hate about moleskines is the skinny paper. I suppose there's no option to specify a DIFFERENT paper altogether? Seem to remember the watercolour version was unnecessarily heavy (and expensive)
I like 130gsm with a bit of a tooth
Please include a spec for more meaningful poll

first thanks a ton for all the feedback ... great to hear all this.
as far as specification and sizes I think we are still very much open ... I wanted to first see what the preference is between the two major styles ...
Whatever Moleskine puts out on the shelves already we can get and customize pretty easily ... so the question remains which moleskines to order If there is a specific one you really think should be considered please point me to the URL of it.
As far as asking for specific paper weights that they don't have already in their notebooks I don't think is a possibility right now.
The Size issue, are we all in agreement we want the larger size ?
I know I do ...
