Berlin, Germany [Results]
Hi folks!
I was off to a very late start, as I only read olkazavr's mail around 3pm today. Luckily, we'd already done a crawl together before so I was able to locate her and the camera man (!?!?!?!) Fabrice? (I'm sorry, I'm terrible with names :])
It was interesting, being put under the magnifying glass, or in this case, camera lens. All the people around look at you differently. I almost blew my cover a few times, because people became nervous as to why i was being filmed and why i kept looking over to them. We'll see what he comes up with.
I joined Olga to draw at Wittenberg platz and we walked through the Christmas market, which is still in the processes of setting up.
We then ducked into Hugendubel, a bookstore, and drew the browsers as they perused the pages and sipped at coffee.
We worked our way to the upper levels and looked down at the cafe corner. I also drew Fabrice and Masha, another late-comer. Great atmosphere, guys, thanks! Also looking forward to what everyone else did here.

--- jaz999, you have been filmed while SCrawling? Hm, I am curious
I like the elder man on the second page most - esp. as his had somehow merges into another one.
Thanks for sharing story and sketches so far,
T

Hi guys! Congratulations for five years of sketchcrawling!
Jen, it is a joy to see you and your sketches again. I am glad you have turned your computer on yesterday
I started with a sketch of morning subway passengers and a weekly market on Kollwitz platz.
KaDeWe, a huge trade center on Wittenberg platz. Feels like we were in another city surrounded by urban flowers - street lamps. We've met Catalina and walked to Tiergarten, a park in the center of Berlin.
We have been filmed while SketchCrawling by Fabrice, a journalist from worbtz. Here is our Big Brother:
I tried to clutch Catarina while she was waiting for the watercolors to dry.
We discovered a big advantage of being filmed. Fabrice and his camera got all the attention and we could easily sketch people sitting right in front of us.
Jen joined us at Wittenberg platz and we sketched at a Christmas market
In a bookstore
It has been a long day for me. I was happy to see you all!

Hi Thorsten, the man's face merged into his wife's -she moved and then I found him more interesting, (because he started picking his nose )
Olga, as it was last time, it was a joy to meet up with you and peek over your shoulder. I love your linework. I also got a chuckle out of your version of "Hugendubel" :} I think Hundelbudel is a more charming name. The analogy for the streetlamps being flowers is whimsical and pretty. It makes sense. I think I like the small sketch of the person with the dog most. It's simple and tells a story. Is the person standing next to them just breathing? Speaking? Singing? Interpretation is endless...
Have fun in Mother Russia, looking forward to seeing you and your sketchbook again ;]

Wonderful linework and lovely atmosphere you have captured.
Is there a possibility to watch the movie?

Jen, thank you. This person next to dog was smoking and drinking. What a mysterious power of art :> We decided to go to Anonymous Drawings together with Catalina, would you like to join us? We can sketch there as well.
Manfred, Fabrice is developing movie and it will take couple days. As soon as it done I'll post a link or show the movie. Thank you for the interest.
