Great technique Erwin. I can even feel how cold it was looking on your lonely SF post.

Great sketches guys! Amazing paintings, Erwin. I really admire your technique. Nice style, Maxist, I like the way you suggest areas without having to go crazy with detail.

Nice work all around!
Erwin, I love those gouache sketches. They really transport me to SF.

Beautiful work Erwin, really stunning ...
Great sketches Secondbrush and Maxist ...
It was a great area to draw and after having sketchcrawled in many different neighborhoods in San Francisco it was really fun to find a new one to draw in ... we also once again dodged bad weather, there was drizzle maybe for 5 minutes but the rest of the day had a stunning mix of cloudy and sunny skies. Thanks for all of you who joined and a special thanks to Diane who pushed to meet in this hood!
Here's some of my stuff ... need to take photos of a couple more pages ...
Look forward to see more of the wonderful sketches I saw in your books at the end of the day!

Had a great time at this sketchcrawl. Stayed around the ramp the whole time, but there was a lot of interesting stuff to draw.

Crazy weather. Kept looking like it was going to rain, but then no. Here is the view from the Ramp at the start of the day. Heavy stormclouds looming in the distance.
A cloud of pigeons swooped in to finish off a leftover plate of fries. Here is the feeding frenzy and some fellow sketchers at the Ramp.
Graffiti-tagged cranes along the waterfront. This wasn't my ideal vantage point, but it was from a sheltered nook as it looked like rain was imminent.
Motorcycle from my same perch. A raven touched down and walked right by here just moments before, but I missed sketching it.
Back to the factory across the way from the Ramp for one last sketch before the meetup.
Nice work, everyone! See you all next time.

You did it well choosing the harbour as setting for the Sketchcrawl. I wish we had something similar here in Madrid!

Always love the SF sketches
Enrico - those are awesome. I always enjoy your cars and these are awesome but they are all great. The first one with the boats is my favorite - how much time did you spend on it>
Erwin - excellent colors and light!!
Gary - All great - amazing detail on your cranes sketch

Excellent job, everyone!
Erwin - These are gorgeous. They're downright moody, and you captured the atmosphere perfectly.
Max - The perspective of the saloon sketch is so trippy; I love it.
Chin - Nice lines; the shadows in the fourth sketch are great.
Enrico - Beautiful watercolors! Your color palette really captures the temperamental weather. I also enjoy seeing the photographs of not only your sketches, but also your "work" space during that moment. That coffee looks delicious.
Lindsey - These are great; the pop of red in the second to last sketch is very effective.
Gary - Wonderful details and compositions. I love your pigeon feeding frenzy sketch the best; it's incredibly explosive and dynamic.
