Sydney, Australia [RESULTS]
Sydney, Australia [RESULTS]
A group of 17 sketchers gathered in Sydney at Circular Quay on a beautiful sunny autumn day. We walked up to the historic area of The Rocks and Obseratory Hill and sketched for a few hours before meeting for lunch. We took a group photo and then a few of us continued until about 3.30. A wonderful day, full of motivation , talking and drawing.

Re: Sydney, Australia [RESULTS]
Here are my sketches from the sketchcrawl today... I LOVE sketching...but all this scanning is a bit of a chore!
Needless to say it was a wonderful day!!!
And it also made me aware yet again how much I love my hometown and our stunning harbour.
And here are some photos -
--------
Meanwhile.....
The non-sketching part of Sydney were taken up with Jessica Watson
So- wonderful day - yet again

Brilliant result from Sydney! So much energy, feel the joyous moments. I enjoy every one of them so much
Re: Sydney, Australia [RESULTS]
Wow! That was a major (re)learning curve. I just setup a new printer and computer and I've had to relearn copy and pasting/scanning/Flickr and even had my Sketchcrawl password reset, but I'm up and running now:
The first few are obvious features of Sydney - The Harbour Bridge, Sydney Observatory and the Sydney Opera House. The two building are one half of Customs House at Circular Quay and an adjacent building with reflection. Lunch was pretty basic but offering a good opportunity to network with fellow sketchcrawlers. I might even enjoy this next time around, not that I didn't today.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity for presenting my pictures being somewhat a newbie.

Re: Sydney, Australia [RESULTS]
We may have to wait until the next crawl to actually meet each other.
My plans were derailed when I discovered my train-lines weren't running all the way into the city and had to catch an interconnecting bus.
In the end I was late and I wasn't able to meet up with you guys but I'll post what I did do whilst in the city and on my adventure that day.
And I had decided to do an hourly comic on that day (a one\two panel snapshot every hour, sometime between x:00 and x:59).

You guys are dazzling! Loved the journal style of presenting sketches and discussion. Architectural sketches were awesome.
