I didn't find out about the 18th WW Sketchcrawl until the day was half over! So I had to go it alone. My images are here:

Thanks so much for looking!

Solo Sketchcrawl from the Hudson Valley [RESULTS]
I enjoyed your sketches and your commentary very much. You did extremely well for someone who started late and had to sketch from home. I really like that sketch of the lemons, as well as all your painting equipment. You have great views out your windows - I hope you will be sketching outdoors for your next sketchcrawl. I look forward to seeing those.

Michelle, thank you so much! I run the Lower Hudson Valley chapter of New York Plein Air Painters, so I will definitely be doing them outside once the weather warms up around here!
Karin, thank you for your kind words about my blog, and for bookmarking it! Doing a painting every day was a real challenge for the first three months or so, and caused me a lot of stress. After that, I found I got into a kind of groove with it, and it's been an inspiring way to push and motivate myself.
PaintMonster, I appreciate your comments!

Hi Jamie,
I used to do a serious drawing every day, but i had to abandon that years ago. I really regret it. I'm trying to fit it back into my schedule.
Your work reminds me of the work at the smithy pioneer. Do you display there at all? It's more Leatherstocking region, but they show a lot of downstate artist. The gallery is actually the oldest building in town. The high season is the summer when tourist flock to the region.

We are living in a time when civilization has become highly expert in the art of destroying human beings and increasingly weak in its power to bring meaning to their lives. --Ben Shahn
