I too joined Sketchcrawl #4 from overhere (Utrecht, NL). Although I did it on my own, I had so much fun.
08:30 am. A "warm up" session, which I did while waiting for the tram to go to the city center of Utrecht.
09:45 am. The view of the dom (the church tower) as seen from the Stadhuisbrug (a bridge).
10:20 am. Houses on the corner of Annastraat and Korte Minrebroederstraat, right across from the city hall square.
11:00 am The view of the new city hall of Utrecht, as seen from Annastraat. The city hall is designed by the Spanish architect Enric Miralles. One of my favorite modern architecture in Holland. Beautiful building.
01:00 pm. After lunch, I sat on the sidewalk across this charming port. It leads to a museum and a theatre.
02:00 pm. Time for coffee. I sketched the view across the street, while standing inside a store (Brandmeester's) that sells quality coffee and thee on the Korte Jansstraat.
03:30 pm. The view of the castle on Achter de Dom (a street) as seen from Voetiusstraat. The castle is part of the Dom church complex.
05:00 pm. Last sketch before going home. I did this while standing on the platform waiting for the tram.
I am going to post a map to show the locations and more stories on my blog.

Watercolors
Beautiful work!
I really like the watercolors. It looks like a homemade book of water color paper...is it?

Thanks
Thank you zipchips and PaintMonster.
Zipchips: I think the paper is handmade, from the quality it looks handmade. I bought the paper/book in Venice a long time ago, and had never used it until yesterday. And I can say that I like the quality very much.
PS. My blog is now updated and includes my sketch crawl sketches.

I sometimes think there is nothing so delightful as drawing.
