Olve - Thank you for sharing your sketches and photos with ours. Your capture of the people is so great
Really love the animating posture and facial expressions. These photos remind us vividly of that moment! I really enjoyed a lot.
P4blo - Hello, thank you! Why don't you come to Japan
Tokyo, what a marvelous team work you did!
I enjoy so many of the sketchces and I like a lot the photo reportage. Also, the Totoro guy is amazing I wonder if in Japan is always like that.
Thanks you all for sharing! You gave me a big smile!

Thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad
We enjoyed tsketch in Tokyo.
Especially we could join guests from Norway this time. That's wonderful.
Hi everybody! Sorry I'm so slow to post , but here are my sketches from the Tokyo sketchcrawl. It was great meeting everybody and enjoying the day with you all
Olve
I am looking forward to the update of your blog. Maja
Welcome to Tokyo Results.
Wooow! What wonderful sketches these are!
I like 2nd one and bycycle under sneaker.
Bravo, guys. It looks like you had a wonderful time together. Olve and Maja, I hope you found the Tokyo Sketchcrawl members as warm hearted and kind as I did. They're lovely people, aren't they?
Kumi, your watercolours are beautiful, especially your first one! I can feel the crisp autumn weather, and it makes me nostalgic. Thank you.
Mayuko, it looks like your drawing style has changed a little bit? Your colours are subtle and harmonious, there is a very soft and tranquil sense in your work.
Tetsu, my friend, your work is always so skilled! You have very bold and strong, confident lines. And your portraits of Maja and Olve are so cool. I wish I was there with you to watch and learn more! And did you draw あずき (red bean paste)??
Natsumi-san, wow...おじょうずですよ。Your line work is beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the first picture with the difficult perspective you drew.
Inaco! Your sketches are really good, and your husband's work is nice as well; is he an illustrator also? Sketching in cafes is always enjoyable, especially in Japan.
Ina-san, the third drawing you did with marker is especially nice. I remember meeting you at the potluck dinner Kumi-san arranged; I wish there had been more time to talk.
Junichi, it makes me happy to know you were able to find some time to go sketching with everyone. You are always working hard, my friend. I like your sketches also, even though you only had a few. You always pick the stylish girls to draw! It's sometimes difficult to draw and capture people so quickly, isn't it? I'm also like this! しんぱいしないで。 :)
Maki-san, your sketches are very cute, and you chose a difficult perspective to draw for the motorbike / moped. You are right, there are nice lighting displays all around Tokyo at this time of year.
T-nora-san, I don't think I met you when I was there in Tokyo but you are also another very skilled Japanese artist. Your street drawings are very nice, and the ねこ statue is also very well drawn.
Olve, you show a great deal of ease with the the pencil, some really wonderful drawings there. Do you have an animation background, if I may ask? I really like your sketch of Tetsu-san especially, you captured his happy and pleasant nature very well!
Maja, you have a lovely fluid style of drawing. You and Olve are very good sketchers. I liked your bicycle, dog and 鳥居 (torii) drawings, but the sketch of your fellow sketchcrawler (is that Natsumi-san?) is so delicate and appealing.
Hana-san, even though you were colouring for the first time you did really well I think. You use spots of bright colour, it looks very nice.
Thanks for your kind words Shaolin7. You are absolutely right about the Tokyo sketch group.
And, very true, I have a background as a traditional animator, but haven't worked as one for more than six years.
