Tokyo, Japan [RESULT]
Re: Tokyo, Japan [RESULT]
The old bous is a fantastic sketch, Kumi. Very alive.
Re: Tokyo, Japan [RESULT]
Kumi - It's just amazing how much you managed to draw in less than an hour. ^___^ I've got a lot to learn from you... 江戸東京たてもの園 is really an amazing place, I hope to go back too if I can.
Maki - It was a pleasure to meet you too! ^_____^ And thanks for exhibiting the Sketchcrawl's sign at the station in the morning, I was already panicking ... But from that moment on everything was just great.
By the way, you did a great job sketching those buildings, they are not easy to draw at all.
(4C did great too with the Kodakara-yu)
Kojiro - Lovely sketches, I just love the house with Kayabuki roof.
Tetsu - Those are just killer sketches!
Here it's what I managed to draw. (I don't have a scanner here in Tokyo, so this is the very best I could manage to get with my camera)
There were lots of interesting spots to draw in the 江戸東京たてもの園 so it was difficult even to chose where to start from, until I saw this old-style laundry hanging from the bamboos...
Than I sketched the flower shop.
And then Gobu-san took me inside this old farmer house, there was the fire under the kettle and in the other room a Volunteer (there are many of them around the park, and all very very kind) was creating windmill with the children. Thank you so much Gobu-san, I would have certainly missed this spot without you.
If I got it right, the fish over the kettle is to protect the house from the fire to get spread around, since it represents water.
My view of Musashi-koganei station from the restaurant (where I got really really close to dip the brush in my tea... )
Hana-san and Gobu-san
Once again, thank you everybody, it was a lovely day! Hope to meet you all again before leaving (otherwise, come to visit me in Italy! ^________^ )

Hi, ALL.
I'm YOSHINO Akira who came by bicycle to there.
I also put my drawings, they're just weeds though. And I prefer to draw common weeds, when I do sketch
It was very interesting, yesterday. I hope to join the next with you all, too!
Thanks ALL, See you !

Hi.
I sketced this in Togoshi-Park(in Shinagawa) near my home alone.
Everything was shining with sun, I felt very comfortably.

Another great session from Tokyo. Kumi, Maki, and Tetsu have come to be old favorites, and the others are wonderful, too.
