I couldn't join in Hamamatsu-cho Team to my regret.
So I sketched in my neighborhood.
This is the Sinto shrine on the street in Japan.
This is ordinary scenery in Japanese town.
great art works everyone!
there were interesting motif in hamamatsu-cho
Kumi,No matter what you draw, you are very good.
TETSU,I especially like the ship! and nice photos.
Emi & tinatu,I'm glad to see your sketch.
I always enjoy your results, now even more knowing that I'll be visiting your country and your city this August.
I hope I can depict your city during my stay with half the talent you all have!
Kumi I like the ship's one and station/street one especially.
Tetsu Your food sketches looks so yummy. I wanna eat!
tinatu nice view of shrine. I like the color.
ina san Your people sketches are always lively and great!
What a rich set of sumptuous drawings and paintings - and the photos to add to the atmosphere!
It looks such fun and means so much hard work. I always check out your entries
each sketchcrawl and I am never disappointed.
It's always refreshing to see the Tokyo street scenes come alive in your works, Team Tokyo!
Kumi and Tetsu, it's remarkable you managed to capture the ship before it set sail. Or even the ice cream! "早く早く。。。” Even just seeing both of your drawings, I learn alot about quick study draftsmanship and structure. Beautiful sketches, both of you, especially Kumi's street scene takes and Tetsu's studies of people, good character in them. It's nice seeing Emi and Tinatu's work too, I like Emi's style of drawing and Tinatu and Ina show tremendous line work in their sketches. Ina, your sketches of people have lots of energy in the lines! Maki, the blueberry bush looks lovely and as you know I am sorry that you had a stomachache and couldn't join this time. I'm glad to hear you are feeling better = ) Natsumi, you also have very strong draftsmanship and a nice style; somehow I can always pick out your sketches!
I can't wait to sketch with you all again next year! Eclecticbox, that's great to hear you will be visiting Japan soon. You'll have a great time, and even better if you can manage to do some sketching with Team Tokyo members -- they are wonderful people, I can attest to that personally = ).
